A 57-year-old Anderson man has been convicted of assaulting a 12-year-old boy. Phillip Allen Davis was already on parole and had been recently been released from prison when he assaulted the boy in November of last year. He was found guilty by a jury Wednesday of assault with force likely to cause great bodily injury. He’ll be sentenced on November 18th and faces a maximum of ten years in state prison.
