A Corning man will go to prison for an attack on an ex-girlfriend. In June, 20-year-old Eric Manuel Castillo showed up at his former girlfriend’s place of work and attacked her. That was one of at least two times that he strangled her. At the time, she was five months pregnant with his child. Castillo was convicted of corporal injury to a co-habitant with a prior strike. He’s been sentenced to 11 years in state prison.
