Felon Arrested After Allegedly Intimidating Neighbors

Hassling the neighbors has caused a man’s past troubles to catch up with him, according to the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office. For several weeks complaints have been coming in from residents of the Trinity Alps Preserve in the sparsely populated southwest corner of the county. They said that Kevin Dubish had made a habit of riding around on a quad-runner harassing and intimidating neighbors while armed with a pistol and a shotgun. A background check showed Dubish was sentenced to 5 years in prison in Connecticut for “risk of injury to, or impairing morals of, children”. He also had warrants in Florida and New Mexico. On Wednesday deputies visited Dubish’s Jeffrey Road home and searched, finding several guns. Dubish was arrested for being a felon with a gun.
