SWAT team members were on their way to a location off of Dersch Road Monday morning when the suspects surrendered. A stolen pickup truck was found in the area of Frey Road and Lack Creek Road allegedly occupied by 39-year-old Shane Maynard of Anderson, a third strike felon who had said he wouldn’t go back to prison. He and a woman barricaded themselves in the truck for a while. Eventually both surrendered. The woman was released and Maynard was booked into jail.
