The name has been released of a Hayfork man killed in a crash last week. Last Wednesday afternoon 27-year-old Jay Stanford Jr. was driving a Subaru WRX on Tule Creek Road near Green Gate Road when the car drifted across the opposing lane and off the roadway, where it plowed into a tree. Witnesses pulled Stanford from the sports car, which completely burned up. Stanford was declared dead at the scene.
