Members of the community are encouraged to help the residents of Redding’s Veterans Home this Christmas through the “Adopt a Veteran” program. A special tree has been set up in the front lobby of the home on Knighton Road. The tree is adorned with stars, each with the name of one of the home’s residents. People can go in and pick one of the stars, then return between December 15th and December 22nd with a new, wrapped and securely tagged gift to place beneath the tree.
