A documentary film to be shown this Saturday in Redding is a fearful look at the dangers of nuclear energy. It’s called “Knocking on Devil’s Door: Our Deadly Nuclear Legacy”, and it discusses the effects of Japan’s volatile Fukushima nuclear power plant, which sent an unknown quantity of radioactive water into the ocean following Japan’s devastating tsunami. That water continues to circulate with ocean currents to the west coast of the U.S. The presentation is hosted by Dane Wiggington and will take place Saturday from 3:30PM to 5:30PM at the Redding Library Community Room. There’s no charge.
