A crash on the northbound Interstate 5 bridge over the Sacramento River at Riverside Drive in Anderson had traffic backed up to Cottonwood Tuesday morning. At around 7 minutes before 9AM a Ford Mustang hit the bridge railing and was disabled, blocking the slow lane. Â As emergency vehicles arrived traffic came to a complete standstill and backed up quickly with commuter traffic. Traffic was moving in the fast lane a few minutes after 9, but it took a while for it to be at a smooth flow again. The Mustang driver sustained minor injuries.
