A woman found dead in her Mount Shasta home has been identified by the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office. Last Thursday an anonymous caller requested a welfare check at a home on Big Canyon Drive, just outside Mount Shasta City. A deputy responded and found the lifeless body of 47-year-old Kelli Renee Lefevre. There was no sign of struggle or foul play, but the major crimes unit is investigating the death as a homicide. An autopsy was done but the cause of death is still inconclusive.
