A man was apprehended Saturday following a chase along Lake Boulevard, Highway 299, and Old Oregon Trail. About 10:15PM Deputies from the Shasta Lake Division of the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office attempted to make a traffic stop near Lake Boulevard and Shasta Dam Boulevard. The driver, 40-year-old Timothy Ray Dopp continued south on Lake Boulevard. Deputies lost him at Highway 299 and Old Oregon Trail. Later, with the help from the CHP, Dopp was spotted in the 15000 block of Fawndale Drive. Deputies responded and Dopp was arrested for felony evading and for numerous warrants.
