A Silver Alert has been called off for a Trinity County man, even though he remains missing. 77-year-old Arthur O’keefe’s last known sighting was on January 4th of last year at his home in the Lewiston area. His family called the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office after they hadn’t seen him for about a week. Investigators were unable to find any evidence pointing to O’keefe’s possible location so a Silver Alert was issued. O’keefe had suffered from various medical conditions. After nearly a year-and-a-half, the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office has requested that the CHP deactivate the Silver Alert.
