Users of Redding Area Bus Authority busses may lose service to Cottonwood, and Anderson would be affected as well. The RABA board has set a public hearing for June 19th. The Cottonwood Express is funded through a carbon reduction grant. It runs 5 times per day but has very low ridership, and no significant boost in that ridership is anticipated. Public comments are accepted at rabaride.com or at the hearing June 19th at 5:15PM in the Redding City Council Chambers.
