There’s been a false start to the racing season at Shasta Speedway. Car races that were scheduled for Saturday at the fairgrounds in Anderson have been called off due to the possibility of rain. Tickets that are already in the hands of race fans will be honored on July 3rd, the same night as the “Anderson Explodes” fireworks show.
