A man who crashed a car in Red Bluff while on drugs has been sentenced. 25-year-old Eddie Ichiro Sanders was arrested March 28th. He had been driving southbound on Interstate Five when he took the South Main Street exit into Red Bluff. He was going about 80 MPH and was high on methamphetamine. The CHP and Red Bluff Police say those are both reasons why he was unable to turn safely. The car left the road and collided with a tree. The passenger in the car was injured and had to be hospitalized. Sanders has been sentenced to 150 days in jail, 80 hours community service and 5 years formal probation.
