Information is being released about a local doctor who Redding Police say has been sexually assaulting an unknown number of underage boys. Doctor Benjamin Shettell is a co-owner of Fusion Health Care and Silhouette MedSpa. Investigators say Shettell’s victims range in age from 17 all the way down to 6-years-old, and some of them were his patients. Search warrants have been served at Dr Shettell’s home, his offices, and a storage unit, leading to the alleged discovery of child pornography. The doctor has been booked on several counts of sodomy and oral copulation with minors. Several witnesses have been interviewed and 8 male victims have been identified so far, though investigators believe there are likely more victims and witnesses, who are encouraged to call 225-4214.
