Yet another man has been lured by the fake 15-year-old girl seeking love online who’s really a creation of the Tehama County District Attorney’s Office. An ad on Craigslist or a similar public site seems like it was placed by an underaged female and many convictions have resulted. 30-year-old Edgar Espinoza-Ortiz liked the look of the ad and responded. For a week he carried on a conversation with what he thought was his dream girl and he made many inappropriate and sexually explicit comments. He eventually made arrangements for a sexual encounter and said he would bring some marijuana for her. When he arrived on June 27th he found it really was a dream and he was arrested. Espinoza-Ortiz has been sentenced to 6 months in jail and he must register as a sex offender for life.
