There seems to be no end to the line of men eager to respond to a fake Craigslist ad placed by the Tehama County District Attorney’s Office. An investigator poses online as a 15-year-old girl and engages men in sexually charged conversation that leads eventually to a planned sexual rendezvous. Of course, when the man arrives he learns the young girl is only a fantasy and finds himself behind bars. The sting has been highly successful, capturing men of all ages. 57-year-old Alan Dewaine Jones was arrested in May. Found guilty of meeting a minor for lewd purposes, he’s been sentenced to 2 years in state prison.
