More than a dozen suspected shoplifters were arrested by Red Bluff Police during a 3 day operation at Wal-Mart. Plain clothed officers worked with Wal-Mart staff to aggressively go after thieves last Thursday, Friday and Saturday. A total of 14 arrests were made of people ranging in age from 22 to 61. Police say one of the apprehended suspects, 32-year-old Brandon Salazar, was identified as a known drug dealer, and was turned over to Tehama Interagency Drug Enforcement after the alleged discovery of narcotics for sale.
