A reward of up to $7500 is being offered for leads in the case of a 31-year-old man killed in Siskiyou County. Spencer Richard Hodgson’s body was found April 8th in a ravine near the Community of Klamath River off Highway 96 about 28 miles northeast of Yreka. He had been killed by gunshot wounds. The recent Klamath River resident had previous ties to Santa Cruz. Hodgson’s missing pickup truck was found by an aerial search, and his missing dog was also found alive and well. The pickup is considered a source of potential evidence for investigators and its recovery has led to additional leads. Detectives have been interviewing associates of the victim and family members. Search warrants have been obtained and the investigation is gaining momentum. The reward has been offered to motivate anyone out there with information about the case to contact SCSO investigators.
