One of Shasta County’s designated chronic offenders has been sentenced. In 2017 and 2018, Christopher David Lowery generated 41 calls for service and was arrested 15 times. His arrests included prowling, burglary, shoplifting, petty theft, warrants and drugs. His repeated contacts made him a target of the Chronic Offender Accountability Program. On Wednesday Lowery pleaded guilty to Meth possession, receiving stolen property, petty theft and illegal camping. He was held to answer for second degree burglary of a detached garage in Redding, and sentenced to formal felony probation and 364 days in county jail.
