A Siskiyou County man has been arrested for murder. Sheriff’s office deputies had been investigating a missing person case, which led them to get a search warrant for a residence in the Carrick Addition. A body presumed to be that of the missing man was recovered at the residence and evidence at the scene led to the arrest of 37-year-old Robert Henry Tessmer Junior Thursday morning. An autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death, and to confirm the identity of the decedent, was scheduled for Friday. The case is still under investigation and anyone with information about this crime is urged to call 841-2900.
