Fire crews are working on final containment this week on the ranch fire southwest of Red Bluff. It’s been a struggle in the steep, rugged terrain and there have been four confirmed injuries. Containment is now at 80% after burning 2,534 acres. No structures have been damaged. The Ranch Fire started 8 days ago near the previous Red Bank Fire in a remote area of Tehama County. 624 personnel are still on scene.
