The speed limit on part of the Redding Anderson Six Lane Project is increasing, as more lanes open. Beginning late Monday afternoon, three lanes will be open to traffic on Southbound Interstate 5 from South Bonnyview to Riverside. The current speed limit on that 4 mile stretch of freeway is 45MPH. It will go back to 55MPH with 3 lanes open. Construction on the $120 Million RASL Project started a year ago and will continue through 2021.
