As the rains slowly raise the level of Lake Shasta, the Department of Reclamation will significantly boost the flow in the Sacramento River. Between Friday night and Saturday morning the releases from Keswick Dam will increase from 5,000 cubic feet per second to 7,000. As of 7 O’clock Thursday morning the lake is 46 feet from the crest of Shasta Dam.
