Someone was killed in a three vehicle crash on Highway 44 Saturday morning. At 10:23AM a Subaru Forester driven by 49-year-old Philip Stamps of Palo Cedro was eastbound approaching Stillwater Road at about 65 miles an hour when he allowed it to cross over the double yellow line into the opposing lane. It collided with a Chevy Silverado pickup driven by 67-year-old Georgia Delarge of Oak Run. The pickup overturned while the Subaru ran head on into a westbound 2005 Audi station wagon. The unidentified man driving the Audi was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene. Stamps and Delarge were both transported to Mercy Hospital with moderate complaints of pain.
