A man from Hollister has been arrested for accidentally firing a fatal shot at his friend in a Redding motel room. Just before 1AM Saturday morning, three men were in a room at the Motel 6 on Hilltop Drive. 30-year-old Gregory Bradford apparently had a gun that he was handling carelessly when it went off and a bullet struck one of Bradford’s friends. The injured man was transported by ambulance to a hospital, where he was declared dead. His name has not been released. Bradford was booked for discharging a firearm in a grossly negligent manner causing death.
