A 30-year-old Red Bluff man has been sentenced for carrying on with a 16-year-old girl. When questioned by police, Robert Martin Amaral Jr. admitted to having sexual relations with the girl multiple times. A psychological evaluation determined that Amaral had a diminished mental capacity. He’s been given a 3 year prison sentence suspended in lieu of 270 days in jail and 5 years probation.
