Butte County reported 2 new deaths from Coronavirus over the weekend. The total number of deaths is now 7. 62 new cases were reported for a total of 820. Most of the cases are being reported in Chico. The county was placed on the state watch list last week. After reporting a new one day record on Friday, Shasta County has broken that record with another 16 cases, for a total of 311. The new cases range in age from their 20’s to their 80’s and 13 have symptoms. Eight Shasta County residents have died. There are 44 active cases. 7 people are hospitalized, one of them in intensive care. 208 people are quarantined due to possible exposure. Tehama County has reported 189 cases with one death. Glenn County is on the state watch list, with 280 cases and one death. Lassen County has had 56 cases in the community, in addition to 499 in the prison population. Siskiyou County has had 65. There have been 205 in Humboldt County with 4 deaths. Trinity County has had three cases. There are still none confirmed in Modoc County.
