California’s only COVID free county has joined the club. Modoc County has reported two cases, both of them in the same household. Shasta County has reported 16 more Coronavirus cases for a total of 339. The age range is evenly distributed, with the youngest under 13 and the oldest in his 70’s. 14 of the new cases reported symptoms. 8 Shasta County residents have died. There are 44 active cases. 11 people are hospitalized, one of them in intensive care. 252 people are quarantined due to possible exposure. Butte County’s Coronavirus cases are rapidly increasing, with another 17 Wednesday to bring their total to 883, with most of them in Chico. 7 people have died in Butte County, which was placed on the state watch list last week. Tehama County reported 5 new cases Wednesday for 219 cases with one death. Glenn County is on the state watch list, with 303 cases and one death. Lassen County has had 59 cases in the community, in addition to 499 in the prison population. Siskiyou County has had 66. There have been 221 in Humboldt County with 4 deaths. Trinity County reported a 4th case on Tuesday.
