Shasta County reported 7 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday for a total of 404. The cases range in age from their 20’s to their 50’s, 6 of them showing symptoms. There are 49 active cases. 6 people are hospitalized, 3 of them in intensive care. 317 people are quarantined due to possible exposure.
Butte County continues to surge in cases another 17 were reported Wednesday for 1029. An 8th death was reported Tuesday. Tehama County has had a total of 249 with one death. There have been 5 in Trinity County. Glenn County has reported new deaths on consecutive days. A 3rd death was reported Wednesday. The county is is on the state watch list, with 352 cases. Lassen County has had 65 cases in the community, in addition to 561 in the prison population. There have been 88 in Siskiyou County and 236 in Humboldt County with 4 deaths. Modoc County reported its 4th case on Tuesday.
