Redding Fire Department has made another arson arrest. A little before 7 O’clock Tuesday night firefighters were dispatched to the Lost Lane area in the Sulphur Creek Canyon below Masonic Avenue. They found a fire had spread from a homeless camp, covering an area of about 30 by 30 feet. Fire investigators gathered evidence and talked to witnesses, leading them to a man named William Sloan. He was booked into jail for arson and an outstanding warrant. This follows the arrest of Joshua Potter on Monday, accused of intentionally starting a field on fire near the Good News Rescue Mission.
