A registered sex offender has been sentenced for fleeing Tehama County. 30-year-old Brandon Paul Orman, originally from Merced but registered in Tehama County, was arrested last August 3rd. He was on parole and had a GPS ankle monitor, which he cut off and threw in a trash can. Orman was found by a U.S. Marshall in a motel in Fresno 11 days later. He’s been sentenced to 6 years in state prison.
