A food drive just wrapped up by the Shasta County District Attorney’s Office, along with Redding Police and County Health and Human Services. A total of 1,729 pounds of non-perishable food was gathered in recognition of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. The food was donated to Dignity Health connected living for distribution to seniors in the area.
