Shasta County has decided to limit in-person services for now, due to increasing levels of COVID-19 transmission. Many county services are available through co.shasta.ca.us . People who need to visit county facilities are highly encouraged to wear masks, especially in unvaccinated. The board of supervisors canceled a special meeting that had been set for Tuesday afternoon to discuss vaccine mandates, and they’ve canceled next week’s regular meeting as well. The Shasta County Superior Court has a mask mandate in all their buildings.
