Another 3 deaths by Covid have been reported in Shasta County from Monday alone. They were a man in his 50s, a woman in her 70s and a man in his 80s. There were also 141 new cases on Monday. In the month of September 366 children under the age of 12 tested positive for Covid in Shasta County, and there were 242 in august. Public health had erroneously reported that no children under 12 tested positive during July, August and September of last year, but there were actually 40. No vaccine is available for kids that young. There are 605 people known to be carrying the virus, 92 of them in the hospital and 23 in the ICU.
