A temporary fix has been made to provide water to the people of Jones Valley, many of whom suddenly found themselves with no water at all last week due to a lack of pressure in the system. A huge and continuous landslide at the road to Mariners Point broke pipes and left pumps high and dry, crippling the pump station . A temporary pump station has been cobbled together for now and officials say reliable clean water delivery has resumed. The system is again re-pressurized and the water has been tested. The boil water advisory has been lifted for Jones Valley water customers.
