For 23 years one of the brightest lights at the Good News Rescue Mission has been Pastor Dave Honey. Things are a bit dimmer today after his passing Tuesday night. Honey has spent the last several weeks battling the Coronavirus and that’s apparently what caused his death. The tragic loss comes almost one year after COVID-19 claimed the life of another much loved figure at Good News Rescue Mission. Bill Hartman died in December of last year after struggling for weeks with COVID-19.
