Redding Police are asking the public for help finding a man wanted for stalking a Redding woman and shooting at her 16-year-old son. On Tuesday night of last week officers were called for a disturbance on Woodhill Drive. A woman said that 35-year-old Tyler Collins has been stalking and threatening her ever since she broke up with him in early December. Llast Tuesday she said she encountered Collins in front of her home and screamed. She said Collins then took off running and her son, hearing the scream came out and chased Collins on foot, with Collins allegedly firing a handgun toward the 16-year-old’s head from about 10 feet away. Collins and another man then fled in a dark, possibly green, pickup truck, possibly an early 2000s Ford F-250 or F-350 4-door. Collins has a long history of violent crimes and is currently on parole. He’s considered armed and dangerous. A photo is on the KQMS Facebook page.
