A surge in COVID-19 cases is again affecting the Shasta County Superior Court. All new jury trials are being suspended. Trials underway in Departments 3,4,and 7 will continue including jury selection in Department 3, but any other jury summons as of Tuesday will be postponed and a new summons will be sent. The court anticipates resuming normal jury trials in March, pending the status of the virus.
