Siskiyou County’s new multi-agency “Drug Highway Enforcement” team made a huge seizure on just their second day of existence. Last Thursday a Chrysler 300 was pulled over on Interstate 5, driven by 23-year-old Mario Olivares of Santa Clara, with his 17-year-old brother riding along. The car was searched and 11 Pounds of Cocaine was reportedly found hidden under some joint compound in a 5 gallon bucket. Olivares was booked into jail, while his brother was taken by child protective services.
