Shasta County has reported another 179 Coronavirus cases. There are 892 known active cases in Shasta County but the actual number is believed to be much higher. There are 74 patients in the hospital with Covid and 10 in the ICU. Vaccinations are available for free at many locations. In-home appointments can be made at myturn.ca.gov. Although statewide masking requirements will be lifted on the 15th, masks are still recommended for people in high transmission areas, such as Shasta County.
