Another 86 Coronavirus cases were confirmed in Shasta County Tuesday. Known active cases are down to 546, but the actual number is still believed to be much higher. There are 84 patients in the hospital with Covid, and 14 in the ICU. According to the state guidance for mask wearing, all unvaccinated people still are expected to be masked in indoor public places. Vaccinated people don’t need to be masked but it’s still recommended. Vaccinations are available for free at many locations. In-home appointments can be made at myturn.ca.gov. The Sikh Center and SCCAR will host a vaccine and booster clinic with all vaccine brands available for free Friday from 1:30PM to 6:30PM at Shasta Lake Chiropractic on Shasta Dam Boulevard.
