Training burns will be done early next week in Tehama County. The burns will be done by the Tehama-Glenn Unit of Cal-Fire Monday through Wednesday near Vista Way and South Jackson Street in Red Bluff. The burns will take place each afternoon and will cover plots of up to 50 by 100 feet. The burns are part of investigation training. 19% of wildland fires in the Tehama-Glenn Unit last year were caused by arson, and resulted in 9 arrests.
