The body of an apparent drowning victim has been pulled from the waters of Lake Shasta. A boater on Sunday discovered the man floating face down next to the Digger Bay Marina, which is currently next to the main dock of Bridge Bay. The victim, an Asian man, had been seen fishing in the area on Saturday. His name will be released after family is notified. This is the second drowning at Lake Shasta within a month. The Sheriff’s Office recommends that personal floatation devices be worn by anyone spending time near the water.
