Deputies Arrest Man Who Reportedly Threatened Victim With A Gun

A Los Molinos man faces felony domestic violence charges and is being held on a Million Dollars bail. Friday evening a woman who was dating 29-year-old Luis Alfredo Camacho-Pacheco said that during an argument she was thrown against a wall and prevented from leaving the Butler Street house as she was choked nearly to unconsciousness. Saturday morning the argument resumed when the woman tried to leave. Camacho-Pacheco allegedly started choking her again before forcing her back inside and choking her some more. He also reportedly shoved the barrel of a pistol into her mouth. The victim said he tried to set a room of the home on fire and while he was distracted she fled the house and got a ride out of the area. Tehama County Deputies and investigators got a search warrant and arrived at the house Saturday evening. They surrounded the house and called Camacho-Pacheco outside. After about 20 minutes he surrendered. Evidence of the abuse was reportedly found inside, including the gun. Camacho-Pacheco is charged with four serious felonies: domestic violence, assault with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment and torture.
